What Friends Are For

HAPPY 24th Birthday to my good friend Katie. She is a rockstar. Wife and mother of 2 boys. She is a true friend. Love all of the conversations we have on the phone and in person. We've made some pretty great memories over the last 7 years and I'm excited for many more to come.

I remember knowing Katie in first grade, we never actually hung out until the end of Jr year of High School. And from then on we have built our friendship from the ground up. We have gone through a lot together and ready for more. Thank you for being a great friend and someone who is there to talk to anytime for anything.

I am thankful for all my friendships/relationships that I have. Each one is special and unique in its own way. Every person I am friends with holds a special place in my heart and life. Each relationship has a reason and a purpose, weather that is for me or them or both of us. I believe God has put each of them in my life forever for the lessons we go through. God knows exactly who needs to be in your life and why they are there for however long. During this time of not being able to be face to face with your friends might be the most important time to reach out to them and not forget about them. I'm thankful that I have been able to see my friends a couple times during this crazy time in our lives. If you really haven't seen your true friends in 2 - 3 months go see them now it's time to have a face to face interaction!
