Update on my Vegan Journey

WHAT ARE YOU PUTTING INTO YOUR BODY?

Every morning for breakfast I make a vitamin shake. Fills me up and provides all the necessary vitamins and minerals I need for the day. Helps me with my energy in the morning as well. Next, I am really excited about this, I am starting to drink King Coffee. Found out about King Coffee through Shannon @theglowingfridge on Instagram. It has so many benefits for your body and much healthier than plain ol coffee. If you want more information go to Shannon’s IG you can click on her handle above. She has 2 highlights saved about it. Here are some of the benefits it has and what it looks like. If you are interested and want to try it out, sign up under me. Click HERE for the link/website.

- Vega Simple protein powder

- Rae vegan collagen

- Spirulina and Chlorella pills

- Maca and Matcha Powder

- Total Omega (3,6, & 9)

- Oats with flax seed and chia seed

On the side I also take a Vitamin D3 pill and elderberry chews

I am not a big breakfast eater doesn’t sit well in my stomach. This way I am feeding my body with substance and getting all the things I need through the day.

My favorite brand of protein is VEGA. I love the way their protein tastes. It isn’t heavy so you aren’t going to get that protein flavor in your mouth. I use the Simple protein in my breakfast shake. In the afternoon or evening when my body is craving some protein I will have a shake that includes almond milk and a scoop of Vega Protein & Energy flavor Coffee Cold Brew and it has MCT oil in there as well. Then every time I workout I always have protein shake after my workout. Made with a scoop of Vega Protein & Greens, frozen blue berries and almond milk. My favorite bars are there snack bar in salted caramel or blueberry oat and there protein bar in chocolate peanut butter. Vega is all plant based and vegan. I haven’t found any other company that has great products and taste amazing without feeling like you are eating protein. Sometimes that protein flavor can be strong and then it doesn’t taste good.

Ordered these and came in 2

weeks ago. These are just some of

what I listed above.

Eating more whole foods. Not as many processed foods. Following Shannon’s book The Happy Hormone Guide has been so good for my body noticing small changes every moth which means in the long term they are big changes. Balancing hormones and health. Don’t really eat chips anymore only flax seed tortilla chips from Trader Joes with salsa from Target. Every thing I eat has the certified vegan label on it. The brand of sugar products I now use is by Whole Some. No more C&H, because they process their sugars with animal bone char. GROSS.

Doing all these things and putting good foods into my body, it has been easier to workout and tone my body the way I want it to look. I feel better overall and know my body better.
