I am a follower of Jesus Christ. (Christian) I got baptized in July 2012. It was an amazing experience an journey and this journey keeps growing, exceeding, and surprises me everyday. I wouldn’t know how else to live life and wouldn’t want it any other way.

I enjoy going to the beach and lake. Grew up going to Santa Cruz and started going to the lake about 8 years ago. Both are different for there own reasons. When going to the beach you have sand and the ocean, salted air, and a certain feeling. When going to the lake you bring a boat with you, either taking boat rides, along with water sports such as water skiing and wakeboarding. When I go with my brother to the lake we fish sometimes. He was the one to teach me how to fish 6 years ago. (I am so ready for a trip to both!!)

I grew up with a single mom, we lived with my aunt (my mom’s sister) in San Jose until I was 4. My mom and I moved to Modesto into an apartment. The summer before I went into second grade my grandma (my mom’s mom) moved in with us into a 1200 sq. ft. house. Then in July 2012 the three of us moved to Ripon, Ca. My aunt (mom’s sister) passed away in March 2012. My grandpa (mom’s dad) passes away in late 2000. Before they passes away we always went to Palm Springs, Indio for New Years. Every summer we took a family vacation.

I started traveling really young. By the time I was in 5th grade I had been to roughly 15 states. Now at age 24 I have been to 25 States and 2 countries (Canada and Europe – Spain and France) I love to travel but I am also a huge home body. I love being able to come home and not go anywhere. But I definitely can go on vacation a solid 2 weeks maybe longer depending on where.

I met my dad’s side of the family around September 2013. I met my grandma, grandpa, Aunt, 2 cousins (boys, younger than me), and my half sister who is 3 years older than me. My dad passed away in a motorcycle accident and died at the scene. Never met him. He did not want to help out and be in my life for the right reasons. I talk on the phone to my grandma about once a month and we go visit her about three times a year. My grandpa passed away in July 2018. My aunt with send me messages on holidays. And my sister and I hang out a few times and messaged a lot in the beginning. Now we hardly message each other and never see or spend time with each other.

I was a ballet dancer. Started out with Saturday morning class at the San Jose community center when I was 2. At 5 I started going to Juline School of Dance. In July 2011 I joined Central West Ballet company (2011 – 2014, 2015-2017) I took a year off and went to college at Utah State University. I met some of the greatest people I still talk to today at dance. It gave me a great foundation and structure growing up as an only child. I created some long lasting friendships and memories because of dance. My closest friends from dance that I still talk to are older than me by a few years. Elease, and we became close the year I joined and the following year we became Barre buddies. We stood next to each other at the barre. She now lives in Utah, where she is from, with her husband and 3 beautiful children. Wally, I met my first year at Juline’s during Nutcracker rehearsal and we instantly became best friends. He has since been the older brother in my life that I never had and a great male role model. Paige, we became friends instantly, I would do her hair for class usually everyday, and for some shows / performances we had. We even went to Disneyland together, she had never been, she was definitely like a sister. Sarah (Weaver), I have to put her full name because we always called her by her last name. She is my twin, we wore the same pointe shoes, both have blond hair, and we played the role of Coppelia in Coppelia. These are the people I still talk to the most. The only one still dancing is Weaver. They were the ones I could go to if I needed help, a ride, a mentor, a buddy. It was the best being friends with the Principle dancers of the company. It helped with feeling more apart of the group.

Wally and I really are literally brother and sister (not blood related we are chosen). He has taught me so much the last 18 ½ years of my life. To read more on our relationship here is the Blog I did for his birthday. Siblings and Best Friends. I am blessed and thankful to have him in my life. He is there for me when I need him and vise versa. And thank you for blessing me with my nephew. Being an Auntie is indescribable.

Last but not least I have the best group of close friends from school. All of us have been friends with each other for 7 or more years. They are funny, kind, smart, beautiful, and just fun to be around. Love you girls.
