Presley Turns 3!

Yesterday, February 9, 2020, my nephew turned 3 years old. It is crazy how fast they grow up and he is only 3 but he’s now a big boy. He can talk to you or not lol, walks and runs, and loves everything trains. This little boy (not so little anymore) made me an auntie and it has been the best journey. I now realize how much my aunt loved being my aunt.

I always wanted to be an auntie just like her. Thank you Tante for teaching me how to be an auntie. I hope that I am able to be at least half as good an aunt to Presley as you were to me. I loved our relationship and I hold it close to my heart with all the memories we created together.

Presley was born Thursday, February 9, 2017 at 1:00pm weighing 8lbs. 6oz. 20 inches long. He looked just like daddy. He still looks like daddy and acts just like daddy. My Brother is a great dad to his boy and makes sure he has everything he needs for them.

Becoming an Auntie has been such a blessing. I had such an awesome aunt and wanted to be an aunt just like her but because I don’t have any siblings it wouldn’t have been possible. Now when you have close friends who are basically your family because you’ve known them for more than 7+ years, their kids get to call you auntie!! That is the best and it has been awesome. My brother Wally and I have known each other for 18 years now, his birthday is March 6th, stay tuned for that blog post.

Presley’s Birthday Party was Paw Patrol themed. It was a great party, and his Auntie Olga made an awesome cake. The wind wasn’t horrible but definitely made it cold. He enjoyed it all and made it through without falling asleep. I am sure he crashed hard after everyone left.

Happy 3rd Birthday, you are a delight to be around and a loving person. Follow your heart and your dreams! You have so many people on your side. I will always be here for you with anything you need.
