Monday after Easter

Hope everyone had a great Easter! This year definitely looked and felt different from past years. I dropped off an Easter present for my nephew on the porch and called my brother to let him know it was on the porch. So sad that during these times we are not able to physically comfort those we love and spend time with them because of this Corona Virus. None the less the best thing about East and why we celebrate is Jesus rose from the grave. Our Savior is alive! Look to him if you feel lost right now. We definitely are not alone in this we are all going through this strange time together. We just feel alone because we can't have face to face interaction and aren't able to hug those we want to. It's rough because it is actually proven that we need that face to face interaction to help with our mental health. I hope everyone is doing well and finding ways to stay active and finding hobbies or doing something you have always wished you had time to do. I am still finishing classes with MJC. 2 more weeks. Then I plan on reading all the books I have planned to read. I also have decided that I am going to redo my room and give it a makeover!! I will have before and after pictures.

I'm praying everyday that we are another day closer to going back to normal life. I understand that coming up with a vaccine for this virus will take a while. But I honestly think that we will be able to go back to some normalcy before we get the vaccine. Also to be completely honest I probably will not get the vaccine. I do not get the flu shot and I do not get the flu. I have not been sick with anything for a year and a half almost. I believe it has a lot do with what you eat and what you put into your body. Are you feeding / fueling your body with healthy whole foods or processed food. Of course I am not perfect, we all eat crappy food sometimes; such as candy, chips, and anything else you can think of. But you also need fruits and veggies and a good amount to fuel your brain so your body will know what it was meant to do. Being Vegan has helped me so much become aware of what I am fueling my body with and what I want to put into my body.

I have been using a prayer journal for the last month and it has helped me a lot during this crazy uncertain time knowing that God is listening and he is right next to me every step of the way.
