It's August!!

A new month and already 10 days in. What are some fun plans or goals you have for the month of August? I plan to finish 2 books I started reading this month. The first one is Becoming by Michelle Obama and Live by Sadie Robertson. Getting through both these books would be a big accomplishment. Michelle Obama’s book has a lot of detailed information in it. It’s a great book and very in depth. It helps to understand what she is talking about and gives you a clear picture.

I’m not really going to plan anything and live spontaneously this month if someone asks to hang out to do something that day if I am not working then I will go. Try a different approach this month. I am always the planner and have the whole month planned before it even begins sometimes. Then I end up doing what I have planned plus more because other things come up. Need to live each day as a new one and just go with the flow. Accept the opportunities that come that day.

It’s amazing we are eight months into 2020 and so much has happened to our world. Praying by Thanksgiving we will be back to what we once knew with a different approach. I guess that’s the best way to put it. I’m ready for people to get back to their jobs and teachers to teach the students. I feel so bad for all children going to public school who are now forced to do distanct learning (homeschool). It’s not fair to them when some do not learn best from a computer. To the parents out their think about buying your children blue light glasses for when they are on the computer it will help them in the long run.

Saturday my girl Rainbow got a well needed bath and brush thanks to my friend Julie for working at the Groomers at Petsmart and taking care of her. She looks like a new dog, shiny and CLEAN. I also got to celebrate and shower one of my good friends on Sat (8/8) at her bridal shower. So excited for her big day in Oct. everyone’s been waiting a while for this. The rest of August is completely open. Crazy. I have gotten a few small jobs that put a few hours on the calendar per week but plans such as day trips or hanging out with friends are not set yet and I am enjoying that just so it is more of a surprise now.
