Halfway through 2020

It's June already, where has 2020 gone, literally?!?! Before you know it, it's a new year and then you blink, and we are 6 months in; what! This year does not feel like we've gone through 5 solid months already because in the middle of March we were given a mandatory stay at home order by the President of the USA due to COVID-19. But, here we are starting the 6th month of the year. I pray that we are all going to enjoy our summers with concern for others and ourselves to stay healthy. Yet, don't keep yourself away from family or friends any longer; it won't be good for your mental health in the long run. Definitely, wear a mask if it makes you or whom you are with feel safe and respected. Right now, with this pandemic and with what happened to George Floyd, we all need L O V E and to be LOVED!

There are so many different posts and quotes for everything happening it is hard to come up with "new" words. All I have to stay is, we can all do better and need to do better. It starts at home teaching your children that we are all human, we all bleed red, and God created us equally in His image. Yes, our skin colors are different, but so are our eye colors. We need to come together and support our brothers and sisters for better and worse, so we can all feel safe in our wonderful country. We were not born to hate one another, but taught to love everyone. God wants us to LOVE our neighbors (brothers and sisters) as he loves us. We are all one big family. Pray for the hurt and our hurting country. It's not enough to acknowledge you know what is right and wrong, but go out and live what is right. Show your love to others, be kind, friendly, and respectful. You don't need to be everyone’s friend, but don't be mean to them! You don't know their story. It's easy to have love for everyone though.
