Birthdays and Upcoming Trips

Last Wednesday (2/12) was my Oma's Birthday. She is my Mom's mom. After my Grandpa passed away she moved in with us. She's been living with us now for 18 years. It's a curse and a blessing when your grandmother lives with you. Its a blessing to have her around and be able to spend time with her but it is also a hard situation to live in! She still works 2 part time jobs, crochets and knits, drives herself around and can walk. Last Thursday (2/13) I finished the book I was reading by Rachel Hollis, Girl Stop Apologizing. Such a good book. Both of her books were really good. I have not started my next one. I'm trying to focus on finishing school now but excited to start my next book. I have decided and booked a trip to Arizona to spend a week with my best friend Stacey. So excited to explore around with her and see where she is living now with her fiance Blake. I will be going at the end of March. I will be sharing all of my trip my trip here with you guys. Telling y'all what I'm packing, how I pack, the trip itself, and lots of pictures. This week it's supposed to be pretty nice outside, good weather and sunshine. Hopefully Saturday I will be able to go on a hike. Get outside and get some "fresh" air. I'm also hoping to redo my room this week / weekend. I'll take pictures of course. Enjoy your Monday!!
